Driving at night through the German countryside, a young woman (Lena) arrives at the remote estate of Anselm Rossberg. Feigning a car accident, Lena begs for help from Maria, the woman who opens the door. So begins this fast-paced, cat-and-mouse game between Lena and the aged patriarch Rossberg, a man suspected of war crimes. Powerhouse performances and a gripping script fuel this edge-of-the-seat psychological thriller about culpability across generations.
